ABOUT OUR OFFICE

We are a full service Chiropractic office that specializes in treating the whole family.  We are a husband and wife team who went to school together, graduated together, and are raising a family together right here in Carmel.  We know that staying healthy and feeling great is a full time job and requires a lot of effort.  We are proud to be a part of that effort for many families here in Indiana since 2006.  To learn more about the doctors, please scroll down to read more.  

We are open every day from 8:30 to 12 and then again from 2 to 5.  Your first visit is scheduled for an hour, including any necessary x-rays.  We do not x-ray every patient, but determine the need individually.  Additional visits are scheduled for 15 minutes.  This allows us the time to follow up on the previous visit and give your issue the time it deserves.  It is always advised to make an appointment as patients with appointments are given priority, however we do accept walk-ins where possible.  It is our policy to make time for patients with emergencies.  If the emergency occurs during office hours, please call and we will find a time for you.  If it is after hours, the best course is to email us at drshroutdc@gmail.com and we will be able to respond as quickly as possible.  

We pride ourselves on offering affordable care.  We accept many major insurance carriers including but not limited to Anthem, Blue Cross, and Cigna.  We also offer a reasonable cash option for those who do not wish to file to insurance.  There are NO long term contracts.

ABOUT OUR DOCTORS

Dr. Melissa Shrout

Dr. Melissa Shrout D.C. graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February 2006.  Before that she attended the University of Missouri where she received a Bachelors of Science.  Her initial interest in Chiropractic came from watching her mother suffer constant back pain from scoliosis, and finally find relief through Chiropractic.  She maintains deeply committed to understanding and treating patients with scoliosis.  Dr. Melissa proudly notes that "at any given time I have nearly as many active pediatric cases as adults" in her practice.  As a mother of four, she feels that Chiropractic care is an essential part of raising a healthy family.   She also performs energy work and specializes in difficult cases, especially involving autism. Currently accepting new patients on a referral basis.
